Summer Day Camps

Welcome to Summer Day Camps at OCF!

Looking for fun, engaging activities the kids will love? Our camps are designed with fun (and learning) in mind. Science experiments, crafts, and games all designed and taught by experienced and caring teachers.

We offer 5 camp options:

Each weekly camp is 3 days long (Tues to Thurs), 9am to Noon.

There are classes for three age groups:
4-5 yr olds
6-8 yr olds
9-11 yr olds
(age as of Aug 31, 2026)

Each class will participate in different activities, all designed to capture the attention of each age group.

Camp #1: Wildlife Adventures
From ocean animals to creepy crawlies, animal science is the focus. Can birds fly backwards? How many hearts does an octopus have? How long do snails sleep? Which animal never sleeps? We'll study different species, conduct science experiments, play fun games, and create some animal inspired art. There will even be an animal meet and greet!
 
Camp #2: Myth Busters
Got a kiddo that is always asking why?!?!? This is the camp you're looking for! We'll explore all kinds of crazy science questions and myths to figure out the how and why. Does soda really rot your teeth? Do Twinkies last forever? Does sugar make you hyper? Is yawning contagious? Can you cook an egg on a hot sidewalk? STEM experiments, art projects, and some outdoor games mixed in will make this week unforgettable!

Camp #3: School of Rock
Whether your child is a true music lover or just a little curious, there's something fun for everyone at our School of Rock camp! We'll get to try out several different instruments, conduct sound vibration experiments, and create our own musical art to bring home. Come explore the world of music through art, science, and hands on fun!

Camp #4: Splash Zone
We're having fun in the sun this week and we're definitely getting a little wet!  Lots of outdoor water games, as well as science and art projects, will keep kids well entertained. We'll answer questions like Why do ice cubes float? Where does rain come from? What causes a tidal wave? Water you waiting for! Dive in for a fin-tastic time!

Camp #5:  World Travelers
 Break out your passport cause we're traveling around the world in 3 days! Ever wondered what kids in Denmark eat for breakfast? What Olympic sport is Jamaica famous for? How many countries are in Africa? Ever tried Bollywood dance? We'll study the history, food, art, and sports of countries all around the world, as well as conduct STEM experiments and art projects too!


When signing up, be sure to choose the correct camp week and age group for each child you register. (age as of Aug 31, 2026).
